AnkiMobile is a mobile companion to Anki®, a powerful, intelligent flashcard program that is free, multi-platform, and open-source. Sales of this app support the development of both the computer and mobile version, which is why the app is priced as a computer application.
AnkiMobile was written by the lead developer of Anki and AnkiWeb, and it has been around since 2010. Beware other apps using "Anki" in their name that have sprung up recently - they are not compatible with the rest of the Anki ecosystem, and they offer far fewer features, despite charging expensive subscriptions.
Some of AnkiMobile's features include:
- A free cloud synchronization service that lets you keep your card content synchronized across multiple mobile and computer devices. This makes it easy to add content on a computer and then study it on your mobile, easily keep your study progress current between an iPhone and iPad, and so on.
- The same SM2 and FSRS scheduling algorithms that the computer version of Anki uses, which remind you of material as you're about to forget it.
- A flexible interface designed for smooth and efficient study. You can set up AnkiMobile to perform different actions when you tap or swipe on various parts of the screen, and control which actions appear on the tool buttons.
- Comprehensive graphs and statistics about your studies.
- Support for large card decks - even 100,000+ cards.
- If your cards use images or audio clips, the media is stored on your device, so you can study without an internet connection.
- A powerful search facility that allows you to find cards that match criteria such as 'tagged high priority, answered in the last ten days and not containing the following words', and automatically place them into a deck to study.
- Support for displaying mathematical equations with MathJax, and rendering LaTeX created with the computer version.
- Support for adding images drawn with the Apple Pencil to your cards.
Please note that AnkiMobile is currently intended as a companion to the computer version of Anki, rather than a complete replacement for it. While AnkiMobile is able to display and schedule your cards in the same way the computer version does, certain changes like modifying note types need to be done with the computer software. Add-ons are not supported, so while you can study image occlusion cards created with the computer version, they can not be created within AnkiMobile. For this reason, please start with the computer version of Anki before you think about buying this app.
The cloud synchronization service is optional, and data can also be imported/exported from the app via a USB cable or AirDrop.
Like all apps, AnkiMobile can be purchased once and then used on multiple devices in a household using the same Apple ID. Family sharing is also supported (apart from in India). For information on bulk discounts for educational institutions, please see Apple's Volume Purchase Program.

Almost perfect (hardware issue)
I’ve been using Anki for a while now. I love the application and what you can do to tailor flashcards to your needs. Very useful tool. There is one defect that comes up a lot for me I would like to address. I will type all the details below if by some chance this review gets read. This issue impacts my experience a lot as it makes it inconvenient to create flashcards. So I am giving a 3/5 star review until this is fixed. I use the apple magic keyboard and it’s seamless across all applications with no issues. IpadOS is also my preferred way to create flashcards, and the hardware keyboard is my preferred way to type. However, there are times I cannot type in the entry fields when creating a flashcard. This happens a lot after the following: *enter or select a tag for a flashcard* (if I try type in the other flash card fields or in a new flashcard afterward, it isn’t type properly. even the onscreen keyboard fails to type) *edit an existing flashcard* (i can type with the onscreen keyboard no problem but not my hardware one). When I say “can’t type properly”, this happens in the Japanese keyboard and English keyboard (doesn’t matter what language. When this bug happens in the Japanese keyboard, it will show the kanji prediction / selection screen, but won’t actually enter anything in the flashcard.

Complex handling
If you want to learn a language the app can be great but considering you first have to learn how to use the app, with many try and error cases I feel it is too complex for the average learner.
The app comes empty, so don’t expect any flash cards, those you need to download and import from a deck someone created and which can be easily found online, or you create a new deck (set of flash cards yourself).
It’s not plug and play.
2 stars as a pool if and play is what the average user would probably expect given the information provided.

【要望】iPad版のショートカットキーについて
Windows版でお世話になっており，このアプリのおかげで様々な資格取得ができました。
最近iPadを使うようになったので，お礼も兼ねてこちらのアプリを購入しました。Windows版とあまり変わらない操作感で助かっています。
デッキの移動など，やや操作が違う点にはまだ慣れておりませんが，Windows版と併用することで対応できています。
一点，iPadのキーボードを繋げて使用しているのですが，スペースキーを押した時に「正解」となってしまう設定の変更方法を知りたいです。
Windows版には搭載されているので，私の見落としであれば大変恐縮ですが，何卒ご対応いただけますと幸いです。

法律の条項を覚えるのに使用してますが、復習の5枚程度のカードを正解するまで、次のカードに進めません
その日に5枚の新規カードと10枚の復習カードがあるとして、復習カードを何枚か正解しないと新しいカードが出てこず、その日優先すべき新規カードが最後の方に偏って非常に効率が悪いdwす

使い方次第で化ける神アプリ
最初にインストールしたときは使い方がわからなかったが、PCを使って自分でデッキをカスタマイズする方法などをネットで学んでからは一番使っているアプリに化けた。html,cssを使えば自由に見た目も変えられるし、ChatGPTに書かせればあまり知識がなくても使える。

カラー表示の混乱について提案させていただきます
暗記カードの学習画面において、「2日 簡単」のボタンが青色、また未学習カードの統計表示も青色になっており、意味が真逆なのに同じ色が使われていて混乱します。
青＝「覚えた」なのか青＝「まだ出ていない」のか、直感的にわかりづらく、学習の集中を妨げてしまいます。
できれば、ボタンと統計表示の色を分けるなど、UI改善をご検討いただけないでしょうか。
今後のアプリ改善の一助になれば幸いです。
I would like to suggest a small improvement regarding the color display.
In the study screen, the “Easy (2 days)” button is shown in blue, and at the same time, new (unseen) cards in the statistics are also shown in blue.
Since the meanings are the exact opposite—“I’ve learned this” vs. “I haven’t learned this yet”—using the same color is quite confusing.
It would be much easier to use the app if these two were visually distinguished, perhaps by using different colors.
I hope you will consider this as a possible improvement in future updates. Thank you for your amazing work on Anki.

ankiの基本的な操作諸々は特に問題はないが、暗記をする上で、文字の色分けをすることによって、視覚的に覚えやすくなるので、ワンタッチで変更できる色のバリエーションをPC版のように増やして欲しい。(CSSでできないことはないが、手間がかかる)

Expensive and doesn’t have all the features
I use Anki to Import txt and csv files to existing decks on desktop and wanted to do the same on my iPad when out and about, but you can’t. If it can’t do what Anki does, what’s the point of buying it? If you just want to sync what you make on a desktop, it works fine - but them so does the free web app.

Goodnotes6に取り込んだテキストを投げ縄ツールでスクリーンショットしてAnkiに画像を貼り付けてフラッシュカードをつくる目的で購入しましたが、画像サイズが正常にならず使用できていません。

三千もするのは投げ銭用だから、始めての人はankiwebから使いましょう。
PC持ってるいること前提ですが、
アドオン入れてデッキ全体に凄いリアルな英語音声追加したり、気に入ったネットの単語一覧を読み込ませてそのままデッキにしたり、お手軽に誰かが作った辞書みたいなクオリティの単語帳をダウンロードしたり、
使いこなすのにちょっと知識が入りますが、自分は復習が出来ないめんどくさがり屋なので基本的にこれに頼り切って勉強してます。

期待通りの機能
高価ですし操作性が悪いという評判も多いので悩んでいましたが、買ってよかったです。 一問一答系の単純暗記の効率がとても上がりました。 暗記カードの作成が面倒なので環境に応じて工夫する必要はありますが、それでも復習管理の楽さが作成の手間を上回ります。 追記•国家資格の一次試験にやっと合格できました。このアプリのおかげによるところが大きいです。アドオンなし基本機能のみでもかなりの効果を感じています。

使いこなすためのチュートリアルがほしい
主に、暗記が必要な国家試験の受験対策に使っています。これで最後の追い込みをかけ、やっと試験に合格できました。
よかった点
・問いと答えを見て自分の裁量で覚えているかどうかを4段階評価できる。この言葉はもう覚えたな、と思えば復習は何日か後になる。なかなか覚えにくいものは毎日出題される。とても便利です。
・問いを自分で作れるので、クイズ界隈のように「ゲマインシャフトからゲゼルシャフトへ/」で問題文を区切り、すぐに人名が出てくるよういじって遊べます。答えは「テンニース」。
改善してほしい点
・ユーザーインターフェイスがシンプルすぎて初見では分かりにくいです。文字の大きさが一定で、色もほとんどないのは意図的ですか？ 使いにくいです。デザインを頑張っていただきたいです。これまではデッキを全部やるまでトップページに戻れないと思っていたのですが、左上の「デッキ」からトップページにいつでも戻れるとさっき知りました。いまだに使いこなせていないと思います。
・初めてアプリを触る人向けと、ある程度使いこなしてカスタマイズしていきたい人向けにチュートリアルが欲しいです。webで調べれば活用事例が出てきますが、自分のやりたいことができるかどうか迷った時に、まずどこをタップすべきかわからないです。
・上にシンプルと書きましたが、それは一問一答のシンプルな機能を使いたい人にはそう見えるだけです。全体的にアプリの機能についての説明不足を感じます。もしもシンプルさを売りにするなら、小学生でも扱えるような分かりやすいデザインバージョンがほしいです。

The one and true Anki app
Thank you Damien for working on this. It is easily the best flashcard app and it is extremely disappointing that there are so many copycat clones on the App Store that Apple has permitted. if you’re reading this review, know that this is the only official Anki and all the other ones are fakes stealing Anki’s brand image illegally. Absolute shame to all of those other apps for they are thieves.

動画をカードに添付すると表示されない
環境: iPad Air (第5世代)、iOSは17.3.1
iPadのスクリーンショットで保存した動画をカードに添付したんですが、再度アプリを開いてカードを開いたら、動画が再生されずビューが暗いままです。

使いにくい
使い方が複雑すぎるし、使い方を説明してる記事や動画はあるけど、pc版だったりバージョンが違ったり全く参考にならない。
もっとシンプルにしてリセットが簡単にできるようにしないと使い物にならない。

基本的にiosアプリで運営費が賄われてるそうなので応援の意味も含めて購入。
アプリとしては高額ですが買い切りなので悪くはないかなという印象。

最高のアプリ
Ankiは勉強のもってつけの最高のアプリです。
しかし、ここで一つ要望があります。
私はiPadで勉強をしています。
よくマルチタスクを利用しています。
ankiはマルチタスクで一画面までは表示できますが、二画面同時には表示できません。
そこで、ankiを二画面同時に表示できるようにして頂けないでしょうか？

iphoneユーザーとして不公平を感じる！
何故iphone ユーザーだけ3060円も払わされるのでしょう？！酷くないですか？
pc版フリー！Android版フリー！app Store版3060円！なんでや！って普通に思うでしょう。
せめてこれだけの料金がiphoneにだけかかる理由を説明して欲しい。

DL版で試してからApp版を購入しました
アプリは非常に高いので先に無料のパソコン向けのDL版で試すといいと思います
Web版よりDL版の方が使いやすいと思うのでDL版をお勧めします
DL版が使えるとデッキもアプリに比べて楽に自分で作れるし、ちょっとhtml周りのコードが書けるとデッキを自分好みの仕様のカードにできます
両方使えるようになっておくとより使い勝手のいいアプリになりますね
英単語を覚える為に買いましたが、効率よく覚えられてるのがよく実感できます
レビューを見るより、Mac版(もしくはWindows版)を試して買うか決めるといいと思います
Mac、Windows版だけで満足してアプリ買わなくても十分じゃんってなることもあるかもしれませんし

文章量が多いカードだと編集の時に文字を打つたびにスクロールされて打っている文字が見えなくなります。その点はとても不便です。。。
When editing the bottom of a note which has a long text like more than 2000 words, the screen is automatically scrolling up and the typed words are hidden everytime I hit a keyboard, which is a disaster.

Takes like five minutes to figure out and then perfection
日本語がしたです。
My only complaint is that this app isn’t exactly a “pick up and go” type of app. You need to figure out how to use it. And once you do, it changes the way you learn. Truly.
I wanted an app that constantly reintroduces words as you need to review them so you won’t forget what you spent your time understanding. This does that.

好きな物:このアプリは凄く便利です。毎日使うと、勉強した物がずっと覚える。毎日、復習ができます。
嫌いな物:始めた時、アプリがちょっと使いにくいと思います。分かった後、一番好きなアプリになりました！
