愛用しています。
動作が安定していますし、デバイス間で再生状況を共有できる機能は使用していてとても便利ですし、助かっています(外出中はiPhone で、帰宅後はiPadで聴いているので。
ポッドキャストのデータをAppleWatchにダウンロード可能になれば、ワークアウトの際にiPhone を持ち歩かなくてすむので、とても嬉しいです。

I had to give up using downcast
Sadly, I had to give up using Downcast. I’ve purchased it 6 years ago and was quite satisfied until I started using my Apple AirPods. Using the AirPods (and another Bluetooth device as well), it often crashes. Six months ago, I sent the crash log to the developer and received an auto reply. I have the latest version installed (2.9.41.6647). Unfortunately, the problem is not fixed.

But the volume indication don’t move when I plugged in headphones.
If I push the volume button of iPhone, it return to normal.

純正のポッドキャストアプリとは天地の差があり、快適にポッドキャストを聞けます。
以下を改善して貰えればさらに快適ですが。
1時間程度聴いていると、稀に強制終了する。
(iPhone6sなのが悪いのかも)
一番組がファイルを分割して配信すると一つしかダウンロードされない。

時々ダウンロードが中止される
非常に良いアプリだと思います長年愛用しています。
ただこの間からダウンロードしようとすると勝手にダウンロードが中止され、手動でEnable Downloadに変えないとダウンロードされない現象が時々起きます。

iOS11のApple純正PodcastAppで泣いた方にオススメ
日本語メニューはありませんが難しい英語もないので大丈夫です。
iOS11からの純正Appでは難しくなった連続再生や一覧表示など細かい所に手が届くアプリなのでオススメです。

Top Tier App
This app has everything you need. Variable playback speeds, continuous play, support for chapters and I like that you can control the amount of time to skip ahead and set a different time to rewind.
Design wise, this app is more aesthetically pleasing then many others and never feel lost or frustrated when using the app.
Keep up the great work!!!

便利なのですが
昔から便利に使わせていただいてますが、少し前のバージョンからバックグラウンド処理でのバッテリー消費が激しいです。
アプリの設定、再インストール、どちらも試しましたが改善なしです。
半年近くアップデートも行われていないようですが、少々使い続けるのが不安になってきました。
有料ですし良いアプリには違いないと思われるので改善を求めます。

I like downcast, but lots of things broken in this version
Latest update has broken cover art display in playback.
Why do you keep breaking things?
Example, playback speed in player doesn't have the full menu appear (well it does but it's pretty unresponsive), you have to cycle through all the speeds. Very tedious.
Sometimes, controls don't respond to touch.
When you add a new podcast and you're viewing the episodes there is no "edit" option so you can add individual episodes.
It's a great program but please to meddle with things that were working fine. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

通勤のお供として数年たちました。
PodcastをWi-Fiで同期できるようになり、再生できる速度の変更、複数のApple製品でシームレスに聞いている場所からの引き継ぎができることを条件に探したところ、このアプリにありつきました。
メニューはすべて英語など、日本人にとっては使い勝手悪いところがありますが、つかってくうちになんとかなってきました。機能的には満足している逸品です。

バーションアップで不具合
昔から気に入って愛用しております。Podcast再生Appの中ではピカイチの出来です。
最近のバージョンアップで３倍速の再生時にノイズが入るようになったので、早めに改修をお願いします。
また、出来れば、2.5倍速と、2.75倍速再生を復活して欲しいです。

バックグラウンドでバッテリー消費してる様です。調査お願いします。

以前から大変つかやすいアプリでしたが、Apple Watch の対応も秀逸です。iPhoneの操作と同様、多機能です。

I like it but
I listen to a lot of podcasts and this app is great. It allows streaming and video as well. But that is were it also fails. Streaming works great but the video always stops and even sometimes cuts the connection to wifi.
I tried out other apps with same streaming and video options. They work no problem. This is the only podcast app that seems not to work when it comes to video. Hope it is fixed soon. I prefer this app over others but might need to change.

Variable speed playback is unacceptable
Get pocketcasts if you care about a quality and fine-tuneable variable speed playback feature.. The very limited options on downcast is not acceptable for a premium player.

App Store で Downcastという評判のアプリを買ったが、PCにほぼ毎日繋ぐ自分には全くの不要なゴミだった、PCのスマートプレイリストも取り込めない。

バックグラウンド再生について。
いつも素晴らしいアプリをありがとうございます。iOS7になってから、バックグラウンド再生中にカメラで撮影すると、音声がシャッター音に取られて、Podcastの再生が途切れる現象があります。音声は出ずに再生は続いています。
復活する時もありますが。よろしければ対応お願いします。

iTunes いらずで快適♪
すでに多くの方々がレビューされているように iTunes 不要ですね。
高機能で特に重宝しているのが番組によって再生速度が変えられるところ。
音声は倍速以上で、音楽系は等速で。みたいに、これだけでも Apple 純正にほしいところです(^_^;
このバージョンではまだ読み込みに不具合が発生してしまうサイトがありますが(全然読み込めないケロログ、音声、動画以外も認識してしまう seesaa など)、そのうち対応して頂けると嬉しいです。

倍速度がおかしい。
アプリ自体はいいのですが、一点だけ改善して欲しい点が。
三倍速が二倍速程度になっているようなので、倍速度を正確にしてほしいです。

すばらしい
iOSデバイス単体でPodcastを管理できます。なおかつiCloudを利用して複数のiOSデバイスで同期できる！純正アプリの出来の悪さに一時podcastを聞くのを諦めていましたが、このアプリを使い始めて、pocastを聞くのが楽しくなりました。

倍速の再生スピードが遅いかな
普段からPodcastを倍速で聞くため、使い勝手の良いプレーヤーアプリを探していました。このアプリは機能的には言う事なしなのですか、どうも三倍速のスピードが遅いように感じます。
『三倍速』とありますが、おそらく実際には二倍速くらいのスピード再生なのではないでしょうか？
(時間をはかってみたところ、約6分のPodcastを聞くのに3分かかりました・・・)
安定した三倍速のスピードで再生できるようになれば完璧なので、もし改善してもらえたら、非常に嬉しいです。

必須アプリ
ブラウザの次によく使う必須アプリです。
ダウンロードに関する設定項目が多く自由にカスタマイズできるのが魅力的です。
倍速再生が1/2~3倍まで対応していますが、自分としては0.7倍速とか1.3倍速とか微妙な数字は対応してないのが少し残念かな。
音楽ファイルのバックグラウンド再生はもちろん、動画ファイルだってバックグラウンドで再生できるのがなかなかありがたい。
Podcastsを聴く人は入れておいて損はしないアプリだと思います。

これはいい
iOS6になってMacのiTunesとiPhone,iPadでPodcastの同期が取れないトラブルが解決しないまま彷徨っていてこのアプリを知りました。
いやもう、純正アプリ要らないです。
端末間でPodcastを同期するためだけに毎週末iTunesを起動する面倒くさい作業がなくなりました。
久しぶりに素晴らしいアプリに出会った気がします。

使い勝手の良いPodcastプレーヤー
iOS6になり、ミュージック.appからPodcastが削除され、できの悪いPodcast.appで、不具合続出の状態になっている中で、このアプリの使い勝手の良さが光っています。複数のPodcastをまとめてダウンロードし、プレイリストに従って視聴でき、iCloudで複数のデバイス間での同期ができます。例えば、ビデオPodcastは、iPadで、音声のみのPodcastは、iPhoneでといった使い分けもできるとともに、再生ポイントも同期されるので、家でiPadで視聴したPodcastの続きを、電車の中でiPhoneで視聴するといったこともできます。唯一のマイナスポイントは、日本語のローカライズがなされていない点ぐらいで、これも中学生レベルの英語力があれば、問題なしです。Podcastのダウンローダー／プレーヤーとして、イチオシです。

自分のスタイルに合わせて細かくカスタマイズできるのがいい。でもそういう意味では、ヘビーユーザ・上級者向きかも。

設定でプレイリストの同期にチェックを入れると、途中で機器を変えても続きから聞けました。すみませんでした。しかし！これにより、完全にじぶんにとっては神アプリです。

有料の価値あり
PodcastをiPhone単体で完結させるアプリは多数あるが、このアプリならなんでもできる。安定性も高く、iPhone酷使している私でさえ落ちるような事もまずない。
バージョンアップも月に1、2度あり、痒いとコリに手の届く機能が今もなお追加されてる。
