手数料は安く、送金は分かり難い
外国送金手数料はとても安いです。でも、送金はとても分かり難いです。送金出来たと思っても、2日後には追加の質問があるといって送金保留にされたり（その質問メールは追加質問があるというメールとは別メールで届き迷惑メールに振り分けられたため混乱した）、更に2日後には受取人情報が違うと組み戻しで戻ってきたり（口座番号をIBANに変更したらOKだった）、更にまた追加質問が届いたり（国はどこか？と聞かれたがIBANを入力したのだからそれで分かるのに質問がおかしい）、とても手間がかかった。国別の画像表示のマニュアルを準備すべきと思います。

I’m using this app for a long time but after recent updates when I enter the 6 digit numbers, both the source and destination currency get reset to 0. This is critical bug in the app which don’t allow me to send 6 digit amount transfer.

マジで１つの星すらもつけたくないです！！ 8月23日に送金の手続きをしました。なかなか完了にならなくて、おかしいなあと思って、カスタマーに連絡することもできないです！！やっと問い合わせメールを見つけ、【お問い合わせしていただき、ありがとうございます】のようなどうでもいい返信されました。 27日になって、まだ振り込まれなくて、おかしいなあと思ったら、まさか23日にwiseからメールがありました。内容は身分証明書に載ってる氏名とアカウント登録氏名のカタカナ表記は不一致のため、認証完了できないです。 まさかと！！誰もメールを見逃したことがあるだろう？私が問い合わせメールに送った時に、一致してない内容は普通に再度に教えるべきじゃないですか？？？ しかも、私の身分証明書でも、アカウント登録氏名でも、銀行口座の氏名でも、全部同じアルファベットで表示されています。１つも名前のカタカナに表記されてないです。理不尽なことを要求されて、送金5日間遅れてしまいました。 マジで災厄！手数料もめっちゃくちゃ高いし！！もう2度と利用しません！！！！！！

日本のカードは承認されない？
他の方はできているようなのですが
私のクレジットカードは対応されておらず
全て弾かれてしまい、なぜかwiseカードを作成する選択をしたところ、その時は弾かれていたクレジットカードは有効になり手続きができました。
そして、これで入金ができると思い、もう一度そのクレジットカードを使おうとしたところ、お客様の国では認められていませんと通知が出ました。よくわかりません。
wiseのカードは1200円プラスすれば作れますとあり、私はそのカードは別に欲しくなかったのですが、どうしても送金したかったので、泣く泣く作りました。その時にはカードを受け入れてくれたのに、入金の時は弾くシステムなのは本当に理解不能です。

Transferring money into your wise account takes forever even though they say it’s quick. Called customer service about my transfer that I have been waiting for multiple days for and they said they can’t do anything about it even though the money has already been subtracted from my bank account. 夫は駐在員なので、ベトナムの銀行口座も持っておりそちらを使う事ができますが、
帯同者であると現地銀行口座を作ることは出来ますが、現地で働いてないとそこに収入はありません。

円→フィリピンペソGcashへの送金が不安定になりました。Pesonet を経由すると遅くなると言うことですが、以前は数十分で送金が完了していました。2週間経っても相手のGcashには振り込まれていません。非常に不安定です。以前のシステムに戻してもらわないと信頼して使えません。

普段ならカードで支払ってるところですが、レートと手数料を考えると節約効果は高いと感じます。今回、Appleから発表されたApple Intelligenceが将来的に(日本語もまだ未対応な状況のため)Chat GPTで活用できますが、その先駆けとして活用しました。
実際にかかった手数料は振込額に応じた手数料ぐらいで現在の為替レートでUSDに変換できました。うまく使っていこうと思います。

They took my money and did not execute international transfer, when I asked for refund of my money, nobody is replying. Bad service
It says it will appear the next day. But now it can take up to 2 working days? Seriously? Before I use my debit card to transfer money and I receive it instant. But now it took me 1 day before they transfer my money @gcash and now they told me it can take up to 2 working days?

返金手続き1ヶ月以上もかかる必要ある？
海外にいる母親に送金がなかなか進まず、そのままキャンセルで返金を依頼しました。そのためアプリを通して返金手続きを行いました。ですが、2-3週間ずっと同じ問題で「返金先の口座が正しくない」判明されたので、カスタマーサポートの鎌田様に問い合わせしました。返金手続きの案内をいただきました。そこで、「口座登録の変更がすみましたらメールを返信してください」という案内通りに従いました。ですが、1ヶ月以上対応もなく、返金もされていません。
ちゃんと対応してくれるかどうか心配で、3回メール（5月10日、5月24日、5月29日）を返信していましたが、WISE窓口のお客様対応については何度も「返金口座登録をしてください」という対応はずっと繰り返し状態です。これって、カスタマーサービス様がメールを見落としたりするだけではないかと？？

息子がスペインに留学していますが、最近のユーロ高に生活費の仕送りも厳しい状況が続いています。
だからこそ為替レートもリアルタイム更新で反映されて少しでもユーロが下がったタイミングで送金できるWiseはありがたいです。

This app has been a lifesaver over the past couple of months. Easy to use, easy to transfer, low fees.
Only grasp is lack of Apple Pay for Japan issued cards, but it is rather an inconvenience than anything else.

Money doesn’t go through.
Most of the time, my transfer does not go through. It says sent to bank, and “may” take upto 2 days, but doesn’t really go through. Called support 3 times and they say the same thing, that it should be reflected to the sent bank account. And after 2 weeks it was cancelled and sent back to my card.

Very helpful especially for international transfers from countries such as Japan, where local banks lack breadth of international services, user-friendly Apps, and easy procedures for international transfers. Not to mention cost-friendly methods.

振込み先銀行が知らないうちに変わっていて、とても迷惑だ。
Wiseに久しぶりにチャージしようと思い、前回と同じ銀行口座(三菱UFJ恵比寿支店)に振り込んだら、その後振込み先銀行が変更になっていた。何の案内もなく勝手に変えないで欲しい。こちらは送金元銀行に振込み先登録をしているのですから。
私の振り込んだ資金はどこに行ってしまうのか？

SMS verification is WTF
The card arrived just before I left for overseas and I thought the work was quick.
However, I need SMS verification to see the pin code. I managed to get WhatsApp verification from the website, but SMS verification was required to see the pincode. It is a strange specification to make me do SMS authentication when I am abroad.

Wise issued in Japan won't work with Apple Pay
if you issue your card with Wise Japan, you won't be able to add it to the wallet app.
Considering most people these days use tap-to-pay by their phones, this is a huge negative point!

米Amazonで荷物不着トラブルがあり、返金処理申請し、結果的に返金されました。かなり複雑なトラブルで詳細は割愛しますがよく返金まできるまで調査してくれたと思います。私は無理そうだからあきらめるからもういいですよとwiseのサポートにメールしたにも関わらずです。
アプリも使いやすく手数料も安い方だと思います。海外現地のローカル口座持てたり、送金も早いし自分としてはかなり満足しています。

It takes ages to send money back home
Wise already got my details(copy of drivers license, bank account etc.) Early this week I gave Wise a try and tried to send money back to the Philippines.
So I put in the details, recipient name and info, how much I want to send, etc. Then they ask me to transfer the fund to their account which I willingly did through bank transfer. They said that the transaction will complete within the day, meaning my mom would receive the funds within that day.
You know what happened next?
They paused the transaction and said “We’re verifying you.” It’s been three days now and they’re still “verifying me”. I mean WTF, it’s like I was scammed.
Wise, if you need to verify me then do it before you ask me to transfer the funds to you. And what’s taking you so much time to verify? Don’t you ever think that the funds might badly needed by the recipient?
It’s Christmas time back home, so I was forced to send money again this time through Western Union. What happened to the money I sent to Wise? I don’t know, it’s Dec 22 and they’re still “verifying me” so I don’t think it would go through before Christmas Eve. Totally, disappointed.

Scam
Stay away from Wise. They claim fast transfers and low fees, but they’re all lies. They don’t verify your details UNTIL you’ve sent them money on the pretext that you’re sending money to the recipient. It doesn’t work that way. You give them money for them to give your recipient money. They have 2 separate charges: one for the conversion, one for the transfer, which they’ve conveniently omitted. The verification process goes nowhere and they just keep saying “they need more time”. Garbage app and service. Professional scam artists at work here.

So far perfect.
Just started using TransferWise this week and successfully sent my first transfer from Asia to the United States. The exchange rate was as advertised. And the app kept me informed at each step. The service is cheaper than any other bank I have used in my 30 years living outside the country. And the app seems quite intuitive and easy to negotiate. Update: I have used TransferWise for just over a year now and it’s great. I had only one misstep. A person at my hometown bank refused to accept the transfer for some unknown reason. TransferWise notified me, politely, and asked me to check my details and resubmit the transfer again. I did and contacted my bank, which saw their error and apologized; so I resubmitted it with no problem.

Punished for following rules
So I made a thousand dollar transfer, as I do monthly for business expensives. For whatever reason the transfer took too long so I cancelled it. I even contacted customer support asking if everything was ok. They told me they never received any money for my transfer (although it was deducted from my bank several days prior). Then the customer support agent named Ansar told me to file a complaint with my bank which I did. Shortly after I get an email from Wise stating they are taking away my ACH transfer capabilities because my bank cancelled my direct debit. I told them Wise customer support told me to file a complaint with my bank, and Wise customer support told me the transfer was cancelled without them receiving any money. I literally did exactly as Wise support asked through the whole transaction. I followed customer supports guidance to a tee. Even though I have all of the messages saved and I show them this, they continue to do nothing about it. The customer support is seriously misinformed to their own rules and regulations. What company punishes a customer for listening to what they tell the customer to do?

Waste of Time
WISE definitely offers the best rates for currency exchange, and the ability to access online banking is very enticing. Immediate access to a virtual debit card is very convenient.
However since opening an account with WISE Ive been unable to activate the physical debit card. Activation requires using your pin at an ATM or in-shop transaction however my card is rejected every time. Contacting wise customer service the agents tell me to pay another $12 to order a replacement card. So I need to pay for their faulty product? This means I have no access to the cash in my bank account as well.
Furthermore I’m constantly met with errors for online purchases of about $80 or more. The app requires my permission for security purposes however even if I confirm the purchase online merchants can’t confirm the purchase. Even though the transaction fails the money is still deducted from my account. So it’s a daily chore to contact wise support to reverse these transactions.
Stay away from this terrible service at all costs.

Do not trust Wise, you’ve been warned
Ignore the people who say the app is great because of all their success stories. Wise is fine when it works but when you need help, prepare to be completely disappointed. Seriously if you don’t mind losing hundreds of dollars when a mistake happens during transfer, keep using them.
Their support is a joke.
You cannot access support messages from the app, only from the web portal. So when you wanna respond to something they say, you can’t do it from the app.
I picked “normal” instead of “savings”. That’s a mistake I made I admit, but it doesn’t give them the right to take my money for three months. I contacted them as soon as I noticed the mistake, they couldn’t cancel the transfer. They won’t contact the bank and they won’t fix it.
Their support is non native English speakers overseas from India or China. They make constant mistakes in understanding your inquiry.
This service might have been good before, but don’t use it anymore because they made cost cutting measures to their support and now you better hope every transfer is perfect or your money is goodbye.
I’m currently weighing my options, I think I’ll have to sue them in small claims.

I was interested to receive some money from my relative due to bank rate is very high
I was trying to login to this app for the first time, and it mentions my details has been registered to a non-email address, which made me feel very anxious and paranoid has somebody using my details to do some kind of online scam, I’ve tried to contact the customer service and there is no options or any direct line to message them email or call them just through the app which I’ve been waiting more than 32 minutes for some connection but it keeps showing the loading sign without any changes... I will try to contact other companies that can help me get through to this app customer service to find out who is using my details and doing transfers or some kind of illegal actions with my name... I hope the company reads this review and contact me to help me or assist me with my issue.
